Although the final product looks simple, the mould behind it requires precise engineering and careful control.

Inside a typical Jar Preform mould system, high-quality steel is often used to withstand repeated heating and cooling cycles. The mould is designed with multiple cavities, allowing several preforms to be produced in one injection cycle. This improves production flow while maintaining consistent shape across each unit.

The process begins when plastic resin is heated until it reaches a molten state. It is then injected into the Jar Preform mould under controlled pressure. The cavity shape defines the neck, thread, and initial body structure of the preform. Even small variations in temperature or pressure can influence the final geometry.
